Information for Media
Today, on February 8, a number of mass media provided incorrect information about the alleged refusal to satisfy the claim of the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine to the Administration of State Guard of Ukraine (UDO). Upon the commission of the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, in order to provide objective information, we inform about the following.
On February 8, the Kyiv District Administrative Court considered only Oleksandr Tupytskyi's statement for securing a claim, in which he requested the court to prohibit UDO from taking steps to obstruct the claimant’s performance of his powers as the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. At the public court hearing, the court decided to deny its satisfaction. At the same time, Oleksandr Tupytskyi's claim to the Administration of State Guard of Ukraine on non-admission of the claimant to perform the powers of the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine was not considered on the merits by the Kyiv District Administrative Court. The preparatory sitting is scheduled for February 24, 2021.
