On September 30, 2021, the Grand Chamber of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine at the in-camera part of the plenary session considered the case upon the constitutional petition of 50 People's Deputies of Ukraine on compliance with the Constitution of Ukraine (constitutionality) of the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Article 80 of the Constitution of Ukraine (on the Inviolability of People's Deputies of Ukraine)".
The Court will proceed with consideration of this case at one of the further plenary sessions.
Also at its session, the Grand Chamber of the Court adopted 36 rulings on extending the term of adopting the rulings by the Boards of Judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine on initiating or refusal to initiate constitutional proceedings in the cases upon the constitutional appeal of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, constitutional appeal of I.V. Fedorchenko, as well as the constitutional complaints of PJSC "Kvazar", S.Y. Syrotenko, A.H. Mashchenko, V.V. Chaykin, R.A. Krymus, O.M. Ananchenko, D.V. Lysytskyi, L.P. Volodko, M.S. Mezhebytskyi, P.I. Pryhara, L.B. Bobyr, O.F. Malynnykov, H.O. Bilobrov, O.Y. Doroshko, V.V. Lebedev, A.Y. Deryhlazov, A.O. Yakovenko, S.M. Klopkov, N.M. Linenko, A.H. Mashchenko, M.A. Tsymbal, V.S. Samotey, B.P. Lykhyi, Y.M. Dobrovolskyi, O.V. Pankeyev, V.A. Duda, O.I. Tyshchenko, Y.I. Vovk, I.A. Tymkova, V.V. Yeromin, I.V. Zhyznev, N.M. Kalashnyk, I.S. Didenko, V.H. Didenko, S.A. At the session of the Third Board of Judges of the First Senate of the Court, 2 rulings were adopted on refusal to initiate constitutional proceedings in the cases upon the constitutional complaint of Volodymyr Mazur on the compliance of the provision of paragraph 4.2 of Article 163 of the Law of Ukraine “On Social and Legal Protection of Servicemen and Members of Their Families” with the Constitution of Ukraine, as well as the constitutional complaint of Ivan Kushaba on the constitutionality of the provisions of paragraph 2.1 of Article 389.3 of the Civil Procedure Code of Ukraine.
