February 3. Sessions of the First and Second Senates of the Court Took Place

On Thursday, 3 February, the First Board of Judges of the First Senate of the Court adopted the Ruling refusing to initiate constitutional proceedings in the case upon the constitutional complaint of Olena Batura regarding the constitutionality of the provisions of paragraph one, clause 7, paragraphs three and six of clause 19 of Section II «Final and Transitional Provisions» of the Law of Ukraine «On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding Priority Measures to Reform the Prosecutor’s Office» of September 19, 2019 No. 113-IX, in the wording prior to the amendments introduced by the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Section II “Final and Transitional Provisions” of the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Concerning Priority Measures for the Reform the Prosecutor’s Office” on Certain Aspects of the Transitional Provisions” dated June 15, 2021 No. 1554– IX (final).

At its session, the Second Board of Judges of the Second Senate of the Court adopted 3 Rulings (final) on refusal to initiate constitutional proceedings in the cases upon the:

  • constitutional complaint of Vitalii Solovichenko  on the constitutionality of Article 130.1 and Article 252 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses;
  • constitutional complaint of  Ihor Verhun on the constitutionality of paragraph six of Article 11.5 of the Law of Ukraine „On the Management of State Property Objects“;
  • constitutional complaint of Yevheniia Veis on the constitutionality of Article 443.1 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
