On Thursday, October 6, the Grand Chamber at the plenary session adopted the Ruling on merging cases upon the constitutional complaints of Antonina Bolotnikova, Hanna Raikun, Ihor Melnychuk, Vitalii Kovbasiuk, Mykola Biliak, Antonina Yefimenko, Volodymyr Veselukhy into one constitutional proceeding. The case was referred to the First Senate of the Court.
The Court also adopted a Resolution on the inclusion of Judge O. Petryshyn to the composition of the Standing Commission on Scientific Support of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
On the same day, a session of the Second Board of Judges of the First Senate took place, at which judges deliberated the issue of initiating constitutional proceedings in cases upon constitutional complaints.
As a result of the deliberation, a Ruling (final) was adopted on the refusal to initiate constitutional proceedings in the case upon the constitutional complaint of Yurii Kapshuchenko regarding the compliance of the provisions of paragraph 6 of Chapter II “Final and Transitional Provisions” of the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding Priority Measures on Prosecutor's Offices Reform” with the Constitution of Ukraine.
Deliberation of the issue of initiating constitutional proceedings in the case upon the constitutional complaint of Varta Limited Liability Company regarding the constitutionality of Article 7.1, Article 9.3, Article 10.1 of the Law of Ukraine “On State Registration of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Organizations” dated May 15, 2003 No. 755-IV and the Law of Ukraine “On State Registration of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Organizations” in general will be proceeded at one of the next sessions of the board.
