Court adjourned deliberation of the case on the constitutionality of the law on conditions of agricultural land turnover and separate provisions of the Land Code of Ukraine

On Thursday, October 10, 2024, the Grand Chamber of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine at the public part of the plenary session in the form of written proceedings continued the deliberation of the case upon the constitutional petition of 48 People’s Deputies of Ukraine on the constitutionality of the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding the Conditions of Agricultural Land Turnover”, separate provisions of the Land Code of Ukraine as amended by the aforementioned Law, and the constitutional petition of 53 People’s Deputies of Ukraine on the constitutionality of the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding the Conditions of Agricultural Land Turnover”.

Pursuant to the request of the subject of the right to constitutional petition, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko, to adjourn the hearing to another date, the Court will proceed with deliberation of this case at the public part of the plenary session on October 22, 2024.

The judge-rapporteur in this case is Galyna Yurovska.

The plenary session was attended by representatives of the subject of the right to constitutional petition, People’s Deputies of Ukraine Serhii Vlasenko and Vasyl Nimchenko, and the Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, Serhii Dembovskyi.
