Thursday, 18 November, the Grand Chamber, at the in-camera part of the plenary session, continued to examine the case upon the constitutional petition of the Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights on conformity of the provisions of Article 16.5 and 16.16 of the Fundamentals of the Legislation of Ukraine on Health Protection, Article 4.6 of the Law of Ukraine “On the State Financial Guarantees of Medical Service to Population”, Article 29.4 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Protection of Population Against Infectious Diseases“, paragraph two of Section II of the Law of Ukraine “On Amending and Declaring Some Legislative Acts of Ukraine as Such that Lost Their Effect“ to the Constitution of Ukraine. Upon the results of deliberation a Ruling on separation of constitutional proceedings in this case into separate constitutional proceedings was adopted.
At its session, the Grand Chamber also adopted the Ruling on refusal to initiate the constitutional proceedings in the case upon the constitutional petition of 50 People’s Deputies of Ukraine on conformity of the Law of Ukraine “On Preventing Prosecution and Punishment of Persons Related to the Events which Occurred During Peaceful Assemblies and Declaring Some Law of Ukraine as Such that Lost Their Effect“ to the Constitution of Ukraine.
Furthermore, 17 rulings on extending until 21 December 2021 the term of adopting the rulings on initiating or refusal to initiate constitutional proceedings by the boards of judges in the cases upon the constitutional complaints of Ye. Rizdvanetska, O.Abramovych, V.Sydorenko, V.Solovichenko, P.Aleksenko, M.Otroschenko, Primary trade-union organizstion of the All-Ukrainian trade-union of the employees of science, production and finance of the Private Joint-Stock Company “Arсelor Mittal Kryvyi Rih”, Yu.Haltsov, V.Liukkonen, O.Bobyr, O.Losiev, O.Soshka, V.Vitenko, Yu.Polyovyi, V.Tsapenko, S.Redchenko and O.Ananchenko.
