47 People's Deputies of Ukraine filed 3 constitutional petitions to the Court
On August 5, 2020, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine received 3 constitutional petitions of 47 People’s Deputies of Ukraine:
- on the constitutionality of the provisions of Articles 96-1, 96-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine;
- on compliance of certain provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine with the Constitution of Ukraine;
- on the constitutionality of certain provisions of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption", the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the Civil Procedure Code of Ukraine and other related laws of Ukraine, affecting the rights and freedoms of citizens.
The petitioners request the Constitutional Court to declare the disputed provisions of normative legal acts inconsistent with the Basic Law of Ukraine.
