47 People's Deputies of Ukraine filed a constitutional petition to the Court
On June 17, 2020, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine received a constitutional petition from 47 People's Deputies of Ukraine.
The subject of the right to a constitutional petition disputes certain provisions of Article 9¹.2.1-4, Article 9¹.3, Article 9¹.6-9, Article 9¹.12-22, Article 9¹.26, Article 9¹.28-33 of the Law of Ukraine on Alternative Energy Sources dated February 20, 2003 No. 555-IV, the provisions of Article 65.2, Article 65.4, Article 65.9.3 of the Law of Ukraine on Electricity Market dated April 13, 2017 No. 2019 -VIII.
According to the petitioners, these provisions lead to excessive expenditures from the State budget and its imbalance.
