The Agenda of the Court Sessions for July 7 Approved. Plenary Sessions of the Grand Chamber, Plenary Sessions and Sessions of the Second Senate of the Court Were Held

On July 7, the plenary sessions of the Grand Chamber, sessions and plenary sessions of the Second Senate took place in the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.

The Grand Chamber of the Court at the in-camera part of the plenary session deliberated the case upon the constitutional petition of 51 People’s Deputies of Ukraine concerning the compliance of the Law of Ukraine "On Ensuring the Functioning of the Ukrainian Language as the State Language" with the Constitution of Ukraine. Deliberation of this case will be continued at one of the next plenary sessions.

On the same day, the Second Senate, at the in-camera part of the plenary sessions, proceeded with deliberation of the cases:

 - upon the constitutional complaints of Anatolii Kremenchutskyi and Vladyslav Pavlyk regarding the compliance of the provisions of Article 294.10 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses with the Constitution of Ukraine;

 - upon the constitutional complaint of Bohdan Bovalkevych regarding the compliance of the provisions of paragraph 8 of section XI "Final and Transitional Provisions" of the Law of Ukraine "On the National Police" with the Constitution of Ukraine;

 - upon the constitutional complaint of Oleksii Abramovych regarding the compliance of the provisions of paragraph 2 of Article 40.2 of the Housing Code of the Ukrainian SSR with the Constitution of Ukraine.

The Second Senate will proceed with deliberation of the above cases at one of the next plenary sessions.

The Second Senate also considered the issue of initiating constitutional proceedings in the case upon the constitutional complaint of Oleksandr Krotiuk regarding the constitutionality of the provision of paragraph 4 of Article 284.1 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine. Deliberation of the issue will be continued at one of the next sessions of the Second Senate.
