On Tuesday, August 30, the Grand Chamber of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine at a plenary session deliberated the submission of the judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine S.Sas on merging constitutional proceedings in cases upon the constitutional complaints of Ihor Hubko and Mykhailo Tsymbal regarding the compliance of a specific provision of Article 361.5.1 of the Code of Administrative Procedure of Ukraine with the Constitution of Ukraine (constitutionality). Ruling of the Grand Chamber of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine No. 1-up/2022 on merging constitutional proceedings was adopted.
The case upon the constitutional complaints of Ihor Hubko and Mykhailo Tsymbal has been transferred to the Second Senate of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine for deliberation.
In addition at the session of the Great Chamber of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, a Ruling was adopted on extending until September 29, 2022, the deadline for the Second Board of Judges of the Second Senate of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine to adopt a ruling on initiating or refusing to initiate constitutional proceedings in the case upon the constitutional complaint of Renat Priadun.
