Cases upon the Constitutional Complaints of Citizens Were Deliberated at the Plenary Sessions of the First and Second Senates

On Wednesday, July 20, the First Senate, at the in-camera part of the plenary session, proceeded with deliberation of the case upon the constitutional complaint of Roman Unukovich regarding the compliance of a specific provision of Article 204³.1.2 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses with the Constitution of Ukraine. Further deliberation of this case will take place at one of the next plenary sessions.

In addition, the First Senate at its plenary session adopted a Ruling to merge the cases into one constitutional proceeding upon constitutional complaints of:

– Antonina Bolotnikova regarding the compliance of the provisions of Article 86.15.6 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Prosecutor's Office” dated October 14, 2014 No. 1697-VII, Article 2 of the Law of Ukraine “On Measures for Legislative Support of Pension System Reform” dated July 8,  2011 No. 3668-VI with the Constitution of Ukraine;

- Ihor Melnychuk regarding compliance of Article 86.15.6.1 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Prosecutor's Office” dated October 14, 2014 No. 1697-VII with the Constitution of Ukraine;

- Hanna Raikun and Vitalii Kovbasiuk regarding the compliance of specific provisions of Article 2 of the Law of Ukraine “On Measures for Legislative Support of Pension System Reform” dated July 8, 2011 No. 3668-VI, Article 86.15.6.1 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Prosecutor's Office” dated October 14, 2014 No. 1697-VII with the Constitution of Ukraine.

The Second Senate at the in-camera part of the plenary session deliberated the case upon the constitutional complaints of Volodymyr Zhydenko and Viktor Petrenko regarding the compliance of the provisions of Article 2 of the Law of Ukraine “On Measures for Legislative Support of Pension System Reform” dated July 8, 2011 No. 3668-VI with the Constitution of Ukraine. Its deliberation will be proceeded at one of the forthcoming plenary sessions of the Second Senate.
