Plenary sessions of the Grand Chamber of the Constitutional Court continue
In view of the numerous appeals of media representatives concerning the plenary sessions of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, we would like to inform you of the following.
The Constitutional Court of Ukraine operates in a usual mode. Today, December 8, at 10:00 am, the plenary session of the Grand Chamber of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine began, at which judges proceeded with consideration of the case upon the constitutional petition of 142 People’s Deputies of Ukraine on official interpretation of a separate provision of the fourth paragraph of Preamble of the Constitution.
Also a plenary session of the Grand Chamber of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine to consider the issue of initiating constitutional proceedings in the case upon the constitutional petition of 47 People’s Deputies of Ukraine on the constitutionality of certain provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and the issue of extending of the term for delivering a ruling by the Boards of the First and Second Senates of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine on the initiating or rejection to open constitutional proceedings in cases upon the constitutional complaints and constitutional petition are scheduled for today.
All plenary sessions will be held in the in-camera part, the results of which will be announced later on the official website of the Court.
