The Constitutional Court of Ukraine was seized with a constitutional petition regarding constitutionality of the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Counteracting the Abuse of the Rights of People's Deputies of Ukraine in the Legislative Procedure"
On May 27, 2020 the Constitutional Court of Ukraine was seized with a constitutional petition of 53 People's Deputies of Ukraine on the conformity of the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Counteracting the Abuse of the Rights of People's Deputies of Ukraine in the Legislative Procedure" of April 16, 2020 № 561-IX to the Constitution of Ukraine.
The subject of the right to constitutional petition considers that the disputed law does not comply with a number of articles of the Basic Law.
