On Thursday, June 20, 2024, the Grand Chamber, at the public part of the plenary session, in the form of written proceedings resumed deliberation of the case upon the constitutional petition of 48 People’s Deputies of Ukraine on the compliance of the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on the Conditions of Agricultural Land Turnover”, certain provisions of the Land Code of Ukraine as amended by the said law with the Constitution of Ukraine, and upon the constitutional petition of 53 People’s Deputies of Ukraine on the constitutionality of the Law of Ukraine“On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on the Conditions of Agricultural Land Turnover”.
The Court decided to adjourn the deliberation of this case due to the absence of representatives of the subject of the right to constitutional petition, People’s Deputies Yulia Tymoshenko and Serhiy Vlasenko, as well as the Permanent Representative of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Maksym Dyrdin, at the plenary session and the impossibility of finding out their opinions on the previously filed petitions, in particular, regarding the change of the form of deliberation of the proceedings in this case from written to oral.
Therefore, the Court will proceed with deliberation of this case in the public part of the plenary session at one of the next plenary sessions.

The plenary session was attended by the representative of the subject of the right to constitutional petitions, People’s Deputy Vasyl Nimchenko, and the representative of the President of Ukraine in the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Serhiy Dembovskyi.
