In January 2026, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine (hereinafter, the “Court”) held 41 sessions, including:
• 11 plenary sessions (1 public part of a plenary session, 10 in-camera parts of plenary sessions) and 3 sessions of the Grand Chamber of the Court;
• 2 sessions of the Court;
• 1 public part of a plenary session, 4 in-camera parts of plenary sessions, 1 plenary session, and 3 sessions of the First Senate of the Court;
• 2 public parts of plenary sessions, 3 in-camera parts of plenary sessions, 1 session of the Second Senate of the Court;
• 10 sessions of the boards of judges of the First and Second Senates of the Court.
At these sessions, the Court delivered 35 acts, including:
• 1 decision of the Grand Chamber of the Court;
• 2 resolutions of the Court;
• 7 rulings of the Grand Chamber of the Court;
• 5 rulings of the First Senate of the Court;
• 20 rulings of the boards of judges of the Senates of the Court.
During this period, the Court received 55 constitutional complaints. Following preliminary review, 24 constitutional complaints were distributed among the judges of the Court. Thirty-one constitutional complaints were returned to the subjects of the right to constitutional complaint as not complying with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine” in terms of form.
The Secretariat of the Court also prepared and sent 63 responses to requests for public information and appeals from citizens.
