December 15. The Agenda of the CCU Sessions (Approved). Sessions of the First and Second Senates of the Court and the Board of Judges Took Place

On Wednesday, December 15, the First Senate of the Court deliberated the issue of determining the form of constitutional proceedings in the case upon the constitutional complaint of Ihor Melnychuk on compliance of the first sentence of Article 86.15.6 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Prosecutor's Office” dated October 14, 2014 No. 1697-VII with the Constitution of Ukraine. Based on the results, the Ruling on consideration of the case in the form of written proceedings was adopted.

The Second Senate in the public part of the plenary session in the form of written proceedings deliberated the case upon the constitutional complaint of Oleksandr Krotiuk regarding the constitutionality of the provisions of Article 284.1.4 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The court examined the case file in the public part of the plenary session and proceeded to deliberate the case at the in-camera part of the plenary session.

The plenary sessions of the Second Senate also deliberated cases:

 - upon the constitutional complaint of the Joint-Stock Company “State Savings Bank of Ukraine” regarding the compliance of the first sentence of Article 1050.1 of the Civil Code of Ukraine with the Constitution of Ukraine;

 - upon the constitutional complaint of Serhiy Polishchuk regarding the compliance of the provisions of Article 16³.4 of the Law of Ukraine “On Social and Legal Protection of Servicemen and Members of Their Families” with the Constitution of Ukraine. The Court will deliberate these cases at the next plenary sessions.

On the same day, the First Board of Judges of the Second Senate of the Court adopted Ruling (final) on refusal to initiate constitutional proceedings in the case upon the constitutional complaint of Oleh Ananchenko on the constitutionality of Article 269.1 of the Civil Procedure Code of Ukraine.
