Employees of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine joined the All-Ukrainian Embroidery (Vyshyvanka) Day

Today Ukraine celebrates Vyshyvanka Day. Ukrainian embroidered shirt is a unique piece of art of our people, known in the national culture since ancient times. It served our ancestors not only as elegant clothes, but also a powerful amulet.

Embroidered shirts and towels are woven with unique weaves and rainbow colours, they encrypt sacred symbols that preserve the history of the people, their identity. They are passed down from generation to generation and preserved as a priceless relic.

Traditionally, judges and employees of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, supporting the preservation and promotion of the values of the Ukrainian people, wore embroidered shirts on this feast day.

May this joyful holiday continue to unite Ukrainians around the world to strengthen their national identity and culture.
