The First and Second Senates Deliberated Cases upon the Constitutional Complaints of the Citizens

On Wednesday, July 27, the First Senate, at the in-camera part of the plenary session, proceeded with deliberation of the case upon the constitutional complaint of Roman Unukovych regarding the compliance of a specific provision of Article 204³.1.2 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses with the Constitution of Ukraine. Further deliberation of this case will take place at one of the next plenary sessions.

The Second Senate of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine at the public part of the plenary session in the form of written proceedings deliberated the case upon the constitutional complaint of Volodymyr Veselukha regarding the compliance with the Constitution of Ukraine of specific provisions of Article 2, subparagraph 2 of paragraph 2 of Section II “Final and Transitional Provisions” of the Law of Ukraine “On Measures for Legislative Support of Pension System Reform” dated July 8, 2011 No. 3668-VI, Article 86.2, Article 86.15.6 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Prosecutor's Office” dated October 14, 2014 No. 1697-VIІ.  The court completed the examination of the case materials in the public part of the plenary session and proceeded to the in-camera part for a decision.

On the same day, the Second Senate proceeded with deliberation of this case at an in-camera part of the plenary session. Further deliberation of the case will take place at one of the forthcoming plenary sessions of the Second Senate.

The Third Board of Judges of the First Senate held a session and adopted a Ruling on initiating constitutional proceedings in the case upon the constitutional complaint of Iryna Yarosh regarding the conformity of a specific provision of Article 483.1.2 of the Customs Code of Ukraine with the Constitution of Ukraine.
