Information on the activities of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in October: the Court held 104 sessions and delivered 79 acts. 33 constitutional complaints were lodged with the Court

In October 2024, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine (hereinafter, the “Court”) held 104 sessions, including:

  • 21 plenary sessions and 9 sessions of the Grand Chamber of the Court;
  • 2 special plenary sessions of the Court and 6 sessions of the Court;
  • 10 plenary sessions and 14 sessions of the First Senate of the Court;
  • 15 plenary sessions and 8 sessions of the Second Senate of the Court;
  • 19 sessions of the boards of judges of the First and Second Senates of the Court.
  • At these sessions, the Court delivered 79 acts:
  • 1 Decision of the Grand Chamber of the Court;
  • 17 rulings of the Grand Chamber of the Court;
  • resolutions of the Court;
  • 1 Decision of the First Senate;
  • 15 rulings of the First Senate;
  • 11 rulings of the Second Senate;
  • 30 rulings of the boards of judges of the First and Second Senates.

During this period, 33 constitutional complaints were lodged with the Court.

Based on the results of the preliminary examination 15 constitutional complaints were distributed among the judges of the Court. 18 constitutional complaints were returned to the subjects of the right to a constitutional complaint as those that in form did not meet the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine”.

During this period, the Court's Secretariat drew up and sent 84 responses to requests for public information and appeals from citizens.
