Information on the activities of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in September: the Court held 64 sessions and delivered 93 acts

In September 2024, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine (hereinafter, the “Court”) held 64 sessions, including:

  • 7 plenary sessions and 7 sessions of the Grand Chamber of the Court;
  • 3 special plenary sessions of the Court and 3 sessions of the Court;
  • 9 plenary sessions and 3 sessions of the First Senate of the Court;
  • 10 plenary sessions and 8 sessions of the Second Senate of the Court;
  • 14 sessions of the boards of judges of the First and Second Senates of the Court.

At these sessions, the Court delivered 93 acts:

  • 35 rulings of the Grand Chamber of the Court;
  • 5 resolutions of the Court;
  • 5 rulings of the First Senate;
  • 9 rulings of the Second Senate;
  • 39 rulings of the boards of judges of the First and Second Senates.

In August-September 2024, 3 constitutional petitions and 83 constitutional complaints were lodged with the Court.

Based on the results of the preliminary examination 35 constitutional complaints were distributed among the judges of the Court. 48 constitutional complaints were returned to the subjects of the right to a constitutional complaint as those that in form did not meet the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine”.

During this period, the Court's Secretariat drew up and sent 82 responses to requests for public information and appeals from citizens.
