Information on the results of the activity of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in December: the Court held 37 sessions and adopted 30 acts

The Constitutional Court of Ukraine held 37 sessions in December 2023, including:

9 sessions of the Court;

4 plenary sessions and 2 sessions of the Grand Chamber;

5 plenary sessions and 2 sessions of the First Senate;

6 plenary sessions and 1 session of the Second Senate;

8 sessions of the boards of judges of the Court's senates.

 

At these sessions, the Court adopted 30 acts:

6 resolutions of the Court;

8 rulings of the Grand Chamber;

2 rulings of the First Senate;

1 decision of the Second Senate;

2 rulings of the Second Senate;

11 rulings of the boards of judges of the senates.

45 constitutional complaints were lodged with the Court in December. According to the results of the preliminary examination, 26 constitutional complaints were distributed among the judges of the Court. 19 constitutional complaints were returned to the subjects of the right to a constitutional complaint as those that in form did not meet the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine”.

The Secretariat of the Court draw up and sent 64 responses to requests for public information and citizens’ appeals.
