Information on the results of the activity of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in March: the Court held 61 sessions and adopted 46 acts

In March 2024 the Constitutional Court of Ukraine held 61 sessions including:

  • 7 plenary sessions and 7 sessions of the Grand Chamber;
  • 4 sessions of the Court and 1 special plenary session;
  • 4 plenary sessions and 3 sessions of the First Senate;
  • 12 plenary sessions and 10 sessions of the Second Senate;
  • 13 sessions of the Boards of Judges of the First and Second Senates of the Court.

At these sessions, the Court adopted 46 acts:

  • 10 rulings of the Grand Chamber of the Court;
  • 2 resolutions of the Court;
  • 2 decisions of the Second Senate;
  • 4 rulings of the First Senate;
  • 9 rulings of the Second Senate;
  • 19 rulings of the Boards of Judges of the First and Second Senates.

38 constitutional complaints were lodged with the Court in March. According to the results of the preliminary examination, 14 constitutional complaints were distributed among the judges of the Court. 23 constitutional complaints were returned to the subjects of the right to a constitutional complaint as those that in form did not meet the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine”, the consideration of one constitutional complaint was terminated on the basis of a withdrawal application.

The Secretariat of the Court draw up and sent 66 responses to requests for public information and citizens’ appeals.
