Information on the Results of Court’s Activities for March: 62 Sessions of the Court Held and 52 Acts of the Court Adopted. 1 Constitutional Petition and 49 Constitutional Complaints Lodged with the Court

The Constitutional Court of Ukraine held 62 sessions during March of this year, including: 6 plenary sessions of the Grand Chamber of the Court; 12 sessions of the Grand Chamber; 1 session of the Court and 2 special plenary sessions of the Court; 5 plenary sessions and 3 sessions of the First Senate of the Court; 17 plenary sessions and 6 sessions of the Second Senate of the Court; 10 sessions of the Boards of Judges of the Senates.

At these sessions, the Court adopted 52 acts: 17 rulings of the Grand Chamber; 2 Court rulings; 3 Decisions of the Second Senate; 8 rulings of the Second Senate of the Court; 5 rulings of the First Senate of the Court; 17 rulings of the Boards of Judges of the Senates.

In March, 1 constitutional petition of the Supreme Court and 49 constitutional complaints were lodged with the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. According to the results of the preliminary examination, 23 constitutional complaints were distributed to judge-rapporteurs. 24 complaints were returned to the applicants, the form of them did not meet the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine”. Another constitutional complaint is being processed.

The Court Secretariat also prepared and sent 42 responses to requests for public information and citizens’ appeals.
