In January, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine held 57 sessions and adopted 54 acts

In January 2024, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine held 57 sessions, including:

  • 14 plenary sessions and 8 sessions of the Grand Chamber of the Court;
  • 5 sessions and 1 special plenary session of the Court;
  • 6 plenary sessions and 6 sessions of the First Senate of the Court;
  • 4 plenary sessions and 3 sessions of the Second Senate of the Court;
  • 10 sessions of the boards of judges of the First and Second Senates of the Court.

 

During these sessions, the Court adopted 54 acts:

  • 17 rulings of the Grand Chamber of the Court;
  • 5 resolutions of the Court;
  • 7 rulings of the First Senate;
  • 3 rulings of the Second Senate;
  • 22 rulings of the boards of judges of the First and Second Senates.

 

During this period, 28 constitutional complaints were lodged with the Court. Based on the results of the preliminary assessment, 14 constitutional complaints were distributed among the judges of the Court. 14 constitutional complaints were returned  to the subjects of the right to a constitutional complaint as those that did not meet the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine” in their form.

In addition, the Court's Secretariat prepared and sent 56 responses to requests for public information and citizens' appeals.
