Judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine took part in the V All-Ukrainian Forum of Forensic Experts (06.06.2025)

On 6 June, Judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Oksana Hryshchuk and Petro Filiuk took part in the V All-Ukrainian Forum of Forensic Experts “Forensic Examination: Development Prospects And Individual Vectors Of Change”.

The Constitutional Court of Ukraine was one of the partners of the event, organised by Odesa Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, Yurydyka Publishing House and the Center for Ukrainian and European Scientific Cooperation.

The forum brought together leading experts in the field of forensic science, academics, representatives of law enforcement agencies and the judiciary. The event became a platform for professional discussion on topical issues of forensic science development, exchange of experience and development of common approaches for further improvement of expert activity in Ukraine.

The judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine joined the discussion of key issues related to the development of forensic science in Ukraine, in particular under martial law. They emphasised the importance of ensuring the independence and effectiveness of forensic examination as a component of the judicial process, as well as the need to adapt expert activities to modern challenges, including digitalisation and integration with European standards. Particular attention was paid to the role of forensic science in protecting human rights and ensuring a fair trial.
