On Tuesday, July 4, 2023, the Grand Chamber, in the in-camera part of the plenary sessions, proceeded with deliberation of cases upon the constitutional petitions of:

– the Supreme Court of Ukraine regarding the constitutionality of the Law of Ukraine “On the System of Guaranteeing Deposits of Individuals”;

– 47 People's Deputies of Ukraine regarding the constitutionality of certain provisions of the laws of Ukraine “On Prevention of Corruption”, “On the Prosecution Office”, “On the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine”, “On the State Bureau of Investigation”, “On the National Agency of Ukraine for Detection, Investigation and Asset Management , obtained from corruption and other crimes”, of the Civil Procedure Code of Ukraine.

The Court will proceed with deliberation of these cases at one of the upcoming plenary sessions.

On the same day, a session of the Third Board of Judges of the Second Senate took place, at which the judges initiated constitutional proceedings in the case upon the constitutional complaint of Anatolii Luzhynetskyi regarding the constitutionality of certain provisions of Article 111.1 of the Criminal Executive Code of Ukraine. At the same time, judges refused to initiate constitutional proceedings in the case upon the constitutional complaint of Ishtvan Tsap regarding the constitutionality of Article 328.1, Article 332.5.4, Article 349, and Article 354.1 of the Code of Administrative Procedure of Ukraine.
