On Thursday, November 17, the Grand Chamber proceeded with deliberation of cases in the in-camera part of the plenary sessions:
- upon the constitutional petition of 49 People's Deputies of Ukraine regarding the conformity of the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Article 12 of the Law of Ukraine “On Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations” concerning the name of religious organizations (associations) that are part of the structure (are branches) of religious organization (association), the management centre (administration) of which is located outside Ukraine in a state recognised by law as having carried out military aggression against Ukraine and/or temporarily occupied part of the territory of Ukraine” with the Constitution of Ukraine;
- upon the constitutional complaint of Ihor Samsin regarding the compliance of the provisions of Article 54.1.2 of the Law of Ukraine “On Judiciary and Status of Judges” with the Constitution of Ukraine;
- upon the constitutional petitions of the Supreme Court of Ukraine regarding the compliance of the provisions of Article 3.1.6, Article 3.2.2, Article 3.2.13, Article 3.3 of the Law of Ukraine “On Government Cleansing” dated September 16, 2014 No. 1682-VII with the Constitution of Ukraine, of 47 People's Deputies of Ukraine regarding compliance of the provisions of Article 1.3, Article 1.6, Article 3.1, Article 3.2, Article 3.3, Article 3.4, Article 3.8, Article 5.5.2, paragraph 2 of “Final and Transitional Provisions” of this law with the Constitution of Ukraine; of the Supreme Court of Ukraine regarding the conformity of the provisions of Article 1.3, Article 3.1.7, Article 3.1.8, Article 1.3.9, Article 3.2.4, paragraph 2 of “Final and Transitional Provisions” of this law with the Constitution of Ukraine and of the Supreme Court of Ukraine regarding the conformity of the provisions of Article 4.3 of this law with the Constitution of Ukraine;
- upon the constitutional petitions of 59 People's Deputies of Ukraine regarding the conformity of the Law of Ukraine “On State Financial Guarantees of Medical Care of the Population” with the Constitution of Ukraine and the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Human Rights regarding the conformity of the provisions of Article 4.6 of the Law of Ukraine “On State Financial Guarantees of Medical Care of the Population” with the Constitution of Ukraine;
- upon the constitutional complaints of Antonina Bolotnikova, Hanna Raikun, Ihor Melnychuk, Vitalii Kovbasiuk, and Mykola Biliak regarding the compliance of specific provisions of Article 2 of the Law of Ukraine “On Measures for Legislative Support of Pension System Reform” dated July 8, 2011 No. 3668-VI, Article 86.15.6 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Prosecutor's Office” dated October 14, 2014 No. 1697-VII with the Constitution of Ukraine, of Antonina Yefimenko regarding the conformity of specific provision of Article 2 of the Law of Ukraine “On Measures for Legislative Support of Pension System Reform” dated July 8, 2011 No. 3668-VI with the Constitution of Ukraine, of Volodymyr Veselukha regarding the compliance of specific provisions of Article 2, paragraph two of Clause 2 of Section II “Final and Transitional Provisions” of the Law of Ukraine “On Measures for Legislative Support of Pension System Reform” dated July 8 No. 3668-VI of 2011, Article 86.2, Article 86.15.6 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Prosecutor's Office” dated October 14, 2014 No. 1697-VII with the Constitution of Ukraine;
- upon the constitutional petition of 51 People's Deputies of Ukraine regarding the conformity of the provisions of Article 54.4.2, Article 56.9 of the Law of Ukraine “On Judiciary and Status of Judges” dated June 2, 2016 No. 1402-VIII with the Constitution of Ukraine.
Further deliberation of these cases will take place at one of the forthcoming plenary sessions.
