Results of the Activity of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in October: 36 Sessions of the Court Were Held and 97 Acts of the Court Were Adopted

In October, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine held 36 sessions: 5 plenary session of the Grand Chamber; 3 sessions of the Grand Chamber; 3 sessions of the Court; 2 plenary sessions and 3 sessions of the First Senate; 3 plenary sessions and 2 sessions of the of the Second Senate of the Court; 15 sessions of the boards of judges.

97 acts of the Court were adopted, including: 28 rulings of the Grand Chamber of the Court; 2 resolutions of the Court; 1 decision of the First Senate and 1 decision of the Second Senate of the Court; 7 rulings of the First and the Second Senate of the Court; 58 rulings of the boards of judges (Detailed information on the results of the proceedings is available on the Court’s website).

15 constitutional complaints were lodged with the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in October 2022. According to the results of their preliminary examination, 7 constitutional complaints have been distributed to judge-rapporteurs. 8 complaints, which in form did not meet the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine”, were returned to the applicants with a corresponding explanation.

The Secretariat of the Court prepared and sent 43 responses to requests for public information and appeals from citizens.
