On Wednesday, August 31, the Second Senate, at the in-camera part of the plenary session proceeded with deliberation of the case upon constitutional complaints of Liudmyla Solomakha and Valerii Burbak regarding the compliance of the provisions of Article 142.3 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges” dated June 2, 2016 No. 1402-VIII with the Constitution of Ukraine. Further deliberation of this case will take place at one of the next plenary sessions.
In addition, at the session of the Second Senate, a Ruling was adopted on the temporary inclusion of a judge from another board of the same senate into the composition of the non-authoritative First Board of judges of the Second Senate of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
