A Session of the Second Board of Judges of the Second Senate Was Held
On Thursday, May 27, the Second Board of Judges of the Second Senate of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine considered the issue of initiating constitutional proceedings in the case upon the constitutional petition of 49 People's Deputies of Ukraine on compliance of the Presidential decrees “On Removal from Office of a Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine” of December 29, 2020 № 607/2020, “On Removal from Office of a Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine” of February 26, 2021 № 79/2021, “On Some Issues of Ensuring the National Security of Ukraine” of March 27, 2021 № 124/2021. The Court will proceed with consideration of this issue at one of the further sessions of the Board.
In addition, the Second Board of Judges of the Second Senate considered the issue of initiating constitutional proceedings in the case upon the constitutional complaint of Hennadiy Sikalov on the constitutionality of the provisions of § 2.4 "Final Provisions" of Section 4 of the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Commercial Procedure Code of Ukraine, Civil Procedure Code of Ukraine, the Code of Administrative Procedure of Ukraine and Other Legislative Acts". Following the consideration of this issue, the Ruling (final) of the Board of Judges on the refusal to initiate constitutional proceedings in the case was adopted.
