Dmytro Lylak

 

Dmytro Lylak was born on October 22, 1960 in Kadobna, Kaluskyi district, Ivano-Frankivsk region.

In 1979 he finished Chernihiv Law Technical School.

July 1979 – April 1980 – inspector of Social Security Department at Pechersk district executive committee in Kyiv. He served a regular term in the army.

1982 – August 1992 – inspector of operations department on control over assignment of pensions and assistance of the United Centre on Assignment and Payment of Pensions and Aid in Kyiv and Kyiv region, inspector of the Sector of Pensions of Kyiv city Department of Social Security, Curriculum Director, Deputy Director, Director of Permanent Republican Courses of the Ministry of Social Security of the Ukrainian SSR.

In 1987 he graduated from the Law Faculty of Kyiv Taras Shevchenko State University.

1992 – 2001 - Judge of the Supreme Economic Court of Ukraine.

2001 – 2006 - Judge of the Chamber on economic cases of the Supreme Court of Ukraine.

In November 2005 he was appointed Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine by the President of Ukraine. He swore the oath on August 4, 2006.

Decorated with the Diploma of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

Judge of the highest qualification class. Candidate of Legal Sciences. Distinguished Lawyer of Ukraine.

Author of a number of publications on the theory of law and conflicts in the Ukrainian legislation.

Dmytro Lylak terminated his authorities as a Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine on April 25, 2013.
