Yaroslava Machuzhak

 

Yaroslava Machuzhak was born in 1956 in Dovhe, Drohobych district, Lviv region, in a worker’s family.

She started to work in 1973 as a collector of field’s expedition no. 4 of the “Ukrghiprovodhosp” institute, then she worked as a thermal engineer at Drohobych drillplant.

In 1978 she finished Kyiv book-trade technical school, and in 1983 she graduated from the Law Faculty of Kyiv Taras Shevchenko State University.

In 1983 she was an intern at Boryspil city people’s court of Kyiv region.

1983 – 1992 – people’s judge of Prypiat city people’s court and people’s judge of Vyshgorod district people’s court in Kyiv region.

From 1992 – Judge of Kyiv regional court.

From 1996 – Judge of the Supreme Court of Ukraine.

In November 2005 she was appointed Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine by the Seventh Congress of Judges of Ukraine. She swore the oath on August 4, 2006.

Distinguished Lawyer of Ukraine. Decorated with Diploma of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

She participated in drafting the Rules of Procedure of the Supreme Court of Ukraine.

Yaroslava Machuzhak terminated her authorities of a Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
