Yurii Nikitin

 

Yurii Nikitin was born in 1965 in town Vynnyky, Lviv oblast.

He started his career in 1983 as a courier in Chervonoarmiiskyi district people’s court in Lviv. Mr. Nikitin served compulsory military service.

From 1986 till 1991 he was a student of a Law Department of Ivan Franko State University of Lviv. After he graduated from university, he worked as a trainee performing functions of a people’s judge of Chervonoarmiiskyi district people’s court in Lviv.

From 1993 he was a people’s judge of Lychakivskyi district people’s court in Lviv and from 1996 – a judge of the Court of Appeal of Lviv oblast.

In 2006 Yurii Nikitin was elected judge of the Supreme Court of Ukraine.

In April 2008 Yurii Nikitin was appointed Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine by the President of Ukraine. He took oath on June 3, 2008.

Distinguished Lawyer of Ukraine.

Yurii Nikitin terminated his authorities of a Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine on June 15, 2010.
