Today, on March 21, the Grand Chamber at the in-camera part of the plenary session continued the consideration of the case upon the constitutional complaint of Ihor Samsin regarding the compliance of the second sentence of paragraph one of Article 54 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges" with the Constitution of Ukraine. It will be considered at one of the next plenary sessions.
At its session, the Grand Chamber issued a ruling to consider the case upon the constitutional petition of the Supreme Court on the compliance of paragraph four of Article 75 of the Family Code of Ukraine with the Constitution of Ukraine in the form of written proceedings.
The Grand Chamber also adopted two rulings extending until April 20 this year the term for the boards of judges of the First Senate of the Court to adopt rulings on initiating or refusing to initiate constitutional proceedings in the cases upon the constitutional complaints of Mykyta Yefstifeiev and Hanna Kritsak.
The Second Senate, at the in-camera part of the plenary session, considered the case upon the constitutional complaint of Ihor Lazurenko regarding the compliance of the provisions of Articles 70.2.4 and 70.2.5 of the Law of Ukraine "On Enforcement Proceedings", Articles 50.2.3 and 50.2.4 of the Law of Ukraine "On General Compulsory State Pension Insurance" with the Constitution of Ukraine. The Court will continue its consideration at one of the next plenary sessions.
