Information on the Activity of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in October: 43 Sessions Held and 47 Acts Adopted

In October 2021, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine held 43 sessions, including: 14 in-camera parts of the plenary sessions of the Grand Chamber of the Court; 4 sessions of the Grand Chamber of the Court; 4 sessions of the Court; 3 plenary sessions of the First Senate of the Court (written proceedings); 3 sessions of the First Senate of the Court; 5 in-camera parts of the plenary sessions of the Second Senate of the Court; 1 session of the Second Senate of the Court; 9 sessions of the boards of judges of the First and Second Senates of the Court.

At these sessions, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine adopted 47 acts of the Court. The Grand Chamber of the Court adopted 20 rulings, the First and Second Senates of the Court - 5 rulings. The Second Senate of the Court delivered the Decision in the case upon the constitutional complaint. The Court also adopted 2 resolutions. The boards of judges of the Court adopted 19 rulings.

During the month, 1 constitutional petition and 26 constitutional complaints were lodged with the Court. The constitutional petition and 12 constitutional complaints based on the results of the preliminary review were distributed to the judges-rapporteurs. 15 complaints that did not meet the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine” were returned to the subjects of the right to constitutional complaints; one constitutional complaint is being processed by the Secretariat.

The Court Secretariat prepared and sent 62 responses to inquiries for public information and citizens' appeals.
